General Practice of Law. Represent and advise clients in setting up of business entities as well as counseling on business and legal issues. Represent clients before the Probate Court, the District Court, the Supreme Judicial Court and administrative agencies. The practice also includes estate planning, criminal and real estate law.

General Counsel to the Department of Public Utilities. As General Counsel, managed approximately twelve attorneys as well as clerical staff. Sat as a hearing officer. Drafted decisions or reviewed decisions of hearing officers concerning gas, electric, water and transportation matters and appeals from termination and billing proceedings. As General Counsel, assisted the department's Consumer Protection Division in administrative and legal matters. As hearing officer or as the reviewing General Counsel, reviewed the transcript of proceedings and drafted or reviewed staff attorney's decisions. Decisions of the Department are reviewable by the Supreme Judicial Court.

Assistant Clerk to the Supreme Judicial Court. Duties as Clerk of Court, for the Supreme Judicial Court for the Commonwealth and the Supreme Judicial Court for Suffolk County entailed the attending court hearings, reviewing and acceptance of documents, the drafting of orders, maintaining the records of the court, supervision of administrative staff, assisting attorney's and members of the public on legal and procedural issues and assisting the justices in the execution of their judicial and administrative responsibilities.

Massachusetts State Police Officer. Performed general duties of a State Police officer.

Special Faculty, Suffolk University School of Law. Former lecturer of the course entitled Appellate Procedure. The course of study included appellate procedures from the various courts and administrative agencies, civil and criminal.

Senior Lecturer, University College, Northeastern University. Courses lectured included the Law of Evidence, Court and Administrative procedures, Civil Rights, Criminal Law and police related programs.

Massachusetts Criminal Justice Training Council. Lecturer to various police academies sponsored or conducted by the Council. Courses taught include Municipal and police liability, Criminal Law, Civil Rights, Domestic Abuse, Community Policing and Evidence and Court Procedure.

Director of the William Cloran Academy. A private academy established to train private security officers and to provide security companies with consulting services relating to training needs.
